same but different

Went to a dog show today.  Not what I expected.  1000 doggies showed up.  But, the dogs are shown by "handlers" not owners.  Which means??? One handler shows 10 dogs all owned by someone else.  Cat shows the owner shows the cat.  Similar?  Went to look at cars today.  WoW!  $45,000 for an all wheel drive.  People are making $500/ month car payments.  That's like paying $200/ month for a cell phone.  Similar?   We got our pecan tree trimmed.  $400.  Sort of like paying a billion dollars for a wash machine.  Similar.  Fabric is now $15.00 / yard.  Ok!  I stop there.  Not going to happen.....
